Blue Velvet

Once it was determined that this Beemer would wear a CB360 tank that we had sitting around the shop, the rest pretty much fell right into place. First up we fabbed up a high and tight subframe with an integrated LED tail light, detabbed the frame and removed the rear passenger peg gussets, for a way cleaner look, then sent the frame and wheels to powder coat. We slammed the front end by poking the fork tubes through a custom triple clamp, added some custom clip-ons (flat track bars cut in half for a little upward lift) and replaced the cushy stock shock with a nice thick Ohlins. Slapped on a short, wide-mouth exhaust, tucked the Ballistic EVO3 up under the tranny, strapped on some K&N’s, and topped it all off with an old-school 5-3/4” King Bee chopper headlight painted old school blue!
